Footsteps for Good is an opportunity to spend a few days trekking in the jungle, whilst giving something to support children in Asia.
Q: Do you want to take part in a challenging and meaningful journey in the Thai jungle?
Q: Are you in need of a few days away from the city to wind down whilst taking part in something purposeful?
Q: Perhaps you would like to run a unique team building or business-planning event for you company?
Footsteps for Good can provide these types of experiences and many more.
The ‘eco-style’ fund raising trek, was set-up by Matt Rickard, in 2009, with the aim of providing people with an opportunity to give back, whilst making a physically challenging journey through the jungle. The inaugural trek raised enough money to build a school in a village in the Burmese Delta. A area Matt visited on a humanitarian trip following Cyclone Nargis. Since then, projects have ranged from building boarding houses to supporting institutions with teachers and medical aid.
Whether you are an individual or a small business, the objective is the same, Footsteps for Good is about taking people out of their busy working environment and getting back to basics in the jungle for a few days. At the same time raising money for a cause related to children in Asia. The tough trekking combined with a meaningful objective, is a recipe for personal growth, team achievement and the forging of new friendships.
