At the beginning of 2009 Footsteps for Good ran its first walk and raised SGD$27,000!  The money raised was used to build a school in the village Chaung Gyi, Myanmar,  about 3 hours drive from Yangon. The area was devastated by Cyclone Nargis in 2007. A solid concrete structure, the school was completed in mid 2010, and can hold 200 children between the ages of 5 and 12.
