MISSION & HISTORY.
SOLVITUR AMBULANDO.
It can be solved by walking.
Would you like to have a few days away, getting fit, and meeting new people whilst contributing to a meaningful cause?
We offer you the opportunity to do just that.
Footsteps for Good is about getting a group of individuals into the jungle and back to basics for a few days, whilst also raising money for a local cause.
-
It’s very much off the beaten track
-
It’s challenging but also open to all experience levels
-
We have 10+ years of successful fundraising trecks under our belt
Taking part means signing up to a 4 day trek through the jungle and seeking sponsors for your efforts via friends and work colleagues. The money raised will go towards a chosen project.
How did it all start?
The first trek was in 2008 when 10 of us got walking and raised $27,000 to help rebuild a school in Chaung Gyi Village in the Myanmar delta. The area had been devastated during Cyclone Nargis.
Following that event Footsteps for Good was born to help reach a wider community of people who’d like to get walking and make a difference.
Since the first step was made in 2008 we have raised more than $250,000 for social missions in Thailand and surrounding countries.
MATT RICKARD.
Matt started Footsteps for Good after taking part in a humanitarian relief mission to the Myanmar Delta following Cyclone Nargis. Listen to the inspiration behind Footsteps for Good in this short video.
